In the eyes of Hein "a Columbus Ohio landlord" racial injustice was not intended, yet her comments says other wise. According to Hein, “If I have to stick up for my white rights, I have to stick up for my white rights. It goes both ways,”.

Based on the color blind post racial way of thinking, rights have no color, there is no definition for being black or deference towards being white. In the eyes of Hein, it is clear a difference is expected and a preferred deference should be giving to her race.

The father did the right thing in moving away from the property as other should do when faced with such injustice. Speak with a color that's widely accepted, Green, the all mighty dollar speaks volumes and does a good job of letting people know you will not accept injustice. Refuse to patronize business entities that advocate injustice, hit them where it hurts the most, in the pocket, shut them down.

There's an insidious attempt by many within our government to obfuscate the rights of the people in the name of smaller government. We the people are the Government and we must not allow those elected to represent the people take away that right in the name of profit.

The Idea of smaller government is basically a money grab and its coming at a very high price. For every sector of government that has been reduced in the name of Small Government, there has in-turn been a contracts to outsource the very same service. That service is in-turn outsourced to the people at a cost higher cost and in most cases at a reduced level of service.

The Carter schools, Nursing Homes and lets not forget the Texas approach of Selling its highway system to the highest bidder. Texas approach is basically to create Toll roads all over the state by privatizing the National Highway System. Toll Roads = Double Taxation, you pay to build and you pay to use and the payment never ends, while the state makes a profit for private entities.

If we the people no longer have a governing system in place that ensures the people are not being taken advantage of, the basic right of freedom shall no longer exist. The current market crisis should not be a surprise to anyone, the lack of enforcement of existing laws that would protect the people have been ignored by the current administration. The Sherman act was created because smart people new completion was not guaranteed, they realized a law was needed to rain in the desire of greed. The action of the Bush administration clearly illustrate its not for but against the people.

I was watching CNN which had on a lady from Texas ranting about burning the Flag and how allowing such actions to continue would destroy the country. Why must consumers, ?The American People? be asked to go greater and greater in debt while being downside? Corporations are allowed to continue their financial misdeeds and declare bankruptcy, while a 250,000 cap is imposed on the American public, companies like Enron and WorldCom,? a perfect example of southern companies run amok ? combined have squandered billions in retirement and common share holder stock, not to mentioned millions in public funded projects. With the truth staring this administration in the face, it allowed WorldCom to not only file bankruptcy with no criminal conviction, changed its name from WorldCom to MCI and acquire more Tax payer funded projects without paying the public back for the previous funds that was stolen. Let?s not forget, the promise made by this administration that those who were responsible would be held accountable and convicted. If this is accountability and conviction, I hate to see what happened when praise is given.

To give ones life is the ultimate sacrifice that any human can give yet many African Americans and Latinos are willing to do just that for a Job and do even less for a career. We all know someone who has joined the Armed Services and after completing their term of frustration learn that the promised acquisition of knowledge falls far short of expectation. Not that the educational opportunity didn?t exist, it?s the do more with less factor that was not taken into account. Many African Americans and Latinos out of fear remain in the service for years afraid to leave because the unemployment monster will attack and take away their lively hood. This creates a generation of frighten people who thinks the only way to survive is to get a government job or join the armed forces. Most will say I don?t see anything wrong with this, but at some point in life you are going to have to face the economic monster without the help of the government. Bottom line, its Military Well Fare based on fear, I for one believe in serving ones country and using every avenue available to obtained knowledge but having to put your life on the line in every attempt is not the ideal approach. Becoming dependent on the military it is like the game hunter who wants to kill all the dangerous animals because for one they are dangerous (fear) and abundant (safe). When the party of taking away the perceived danger is over there?s a feeling safety, but eventually reality the fear returns because there is no longer an abundance, the safe factor, which means the cycle continues until there are no animals left, including self. The acquisition of knowledge is the greatest journey; it dispels fear, which in turn promotes creativity that leads to prosperity.

The reality of Redistricting in Texas and around the nation, millions are silenced and taxed without representation. If one though African and Latino Americans were underrepresented in Austin and other state capitals before the plan, imagine the anemic representation that exist now after approval of the plan. Texas and other southern states are indicative of the nation as a whole and is a leading indicator of were the US as a nation is headed. It is not wise to think the legislator of Texas took such an action on its own accord. Their actions are in fact based on the wishes of the majority, because if it was not, there would be a massive out cry of injustice by the voices that could be heard. Could it be that the Texas legislators are ignoring their constituents, "NOT", the Texas legislator is doing the will of the majority. At this point the question could be asked; who or what is the majority and that answer is Americans of European decent, along with some co-opted groups, which is the controlling force of the Nation. The previous statement is not indicative of all but it does reflect the views of a growing number of European Americans and some co-opted groups. In a world of propaganda and media monopolies there's a constant cry of the term "liberal Media", but if one was to turn on the Television and Radio and listen to the nationally syndicated stations one can clearly surmise, what is claim is not reality. The puzzle, all claiming to be Conservative or some form there of. One must ask the question, why are the so called Conservatives calling a media outlet that is vastly dominated and controlled by them, liberal? Recently the voters of Alabama were given an opportunity to vote on a referendum that would increase taxes to cover the now $680 mil dollar revenue shortfall. It was agued that it would also be used increase the education budget as well. It is well know that Alabama is rated at the bottom with Mississippi on dollars spent on education per child and the high rate of failures among its citizen solidifies the fact that something needs to be done. The rhetoric during the year 2000 campaign was that the government was to big and over burden, it was taken to much always from states rights and the people. “By the way we are still stage left”, the entities and people are still the same, but the rhetoric has changed somewhat. It is now voiced over and over that we are in danger and there’s a great need for new laws and to give the government sweeping powers over the peasants. Just last year, we were being bombarded with rhetoric with an opposite twist. In the past if you were not of European decent you were not allowed to enjoy the freedom of being an American and today if you are not a Citizen by birth, you to can or will be denied Due Process and in the end Freedom. At what point does the defender become the offender, You Decide?

While watching the congressional debate about the power problem in California, a Congresswoman from Maine attempted to compare the power restructuring of California with that of Maine. You cannot compare the power problems of California to that of Maine, because the population or pollution levels of Maine are nowhere near that of California. The pollution level of California is much greater than that of Maine due to a greater density in population and industry. It must be noted over and over again that governor Davis inherited a flawed deregulation plan from Pete Wilson that was hashed up long before he was elected into office. Bottom-line the oil companies are attempting to break California, “the most populist state in the nation and the 5th largest economy in the world” and if these companies are allowed to break California, the rest of the nation will be powerless from stopping the mammoth companies from holding the nation hostage. It’s ironic how states such as Texas are using the California power crisis to tempt companies to move from California, in hopes of growing their economy at the expense of destroying the nation. The nation needs to open its eyes and understand that every deregulation idea is not always in the best interest of the nation. Take for example the deregulation of the Telephone market, the divestiture AT&T created a competing interest within a single entity controlled national market. On the other hand the more recent move to deregulate the long distance market actually created a monopoly in the regional bell markets, which caused the long distant prices declined and region market prices to increase.
